President and Principal - John Slade
A management expert who has founded 3 companies, taken one public, and enabled more than 100 others to become significantly more efficient, John Slade is a pioneer in the concept of relating organizational efficiency to financial performance. Well known among chief executives and business managers across the United States, he has created a firm that helps companies improve their performance, revenue and profits. With more than 45 years experience in business and technology, John has helped companies in many industries, including manufacturing, printing, distribution and others. John has been CEO of three companies and has taken one of them public. Mr. Slade has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University and is a certified Professional Consultant and Advisor. He has also completed the United Kingdom's Institute of Quality Assurance approved ISO Lead Assessor training course.

Principal - Glenn Bodinson
Mr. Bodinson has an MBA from Michigan State University and a BSIM from Purdue University. He has over forty years experience in industry and consulting. Glenn's field experience includes service as a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Examiner in 1992 and 1993, Texas Quality Award Judge from 1994 to 1999, a Shingo Prize Examiner from 2000 to 2008, and national-level judge for the ASQ International Team Excellence Award Process. Mr. Bodinson is a member of the board for a large hospital in Dallas and is on the hospital’s Quality Committee. He also teaches at the Quality Institute for Healthcare. He has just been recruited to become a Judge for the Veteran Administration’s Robert W. Carey Performance Excellence Award.

Glenn is a Fellow of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and a Fellow of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS). He is a Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor, and Certified Quality Manager.

Director, Operations - Vaughn Johns
As a resident expert with extensive background in technology, software development, and business process management, Vaughn complements the skill set and analysis tools that Insight 1, Inc. brings to each engagement. His extensive technical and business management experience gives him a unique ability to define, analyze and improve business processes as he applies formal process management and improvement methodologies. His career spans more than 40 years and covers a wide spectrum of responsibilities in both commercial, nonprofit and US Government/military applications. Working with both large and small firms, he has served as both a project/program manager as well as executive operations manager. His background also includes 6 years of planning and executing large-scale industrial modernization programs.

Recently, Vaughn has played a key role in establishing a presence for Insight 1, Inc. in the Human Health Related business sector. He has been instrumental in managing large scale efforts for developing and implementing process based healthcare delivery systems for hospital districts as well as for a worldwide network of pre-clinical testing laboratories supporting the pharmaceutical industry.

Additionally, Vaughn leads clients in developing and implementing ISO 9001, TS16949 (Automotive), TL 9000, AS9100, ISO 14001 as well as OHAS 18001 (Safety) compliant management Systems. Mr. Johns has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is trained as an ISO 9001, TS16949, TL9000 and AS9100 internal auditor.

Senior Process Consultant - Jeff Hoard
Jeff Hoard's background in education, print manufacturing, Quality Assurance and business process management, makes him a valuable asset that Insight 1, Inc. brings to each engagement. His background spans more than 20 years and covers a wide spectrum of responsibilities in commercial applications. Jeff's educational background (including teaching on the secondary level) combined with his extensive expertise and experience as a Quality Manager has equipped him with a unique ability for facilitating, teaching and coaching client management teams to analyze and improve their business processes utilizing formal process management and improvement methodologies. His insight also helps clients prepare for ISO 9000 as well as the QS, TL, and AS9100 registration He has a B.S. in Education from St. Cloud State University (Minnesota).

Senior Process Consultant, Information Technology - Hung Tran
Hung Tran is a system developer with over 12 years of technology and business experience. Hung provides invaluable support to Insight 1, Inc.'s needs and those of its clients in developing management tools and applications that facilitate user friendly methods for information access, analysis and usability. Hung has directed and developed multiple projects for industry leaders in telecommunications, information technology, learning, real estate, and healthcare. Hung possesses extensive knowledge in web, application, and database development. Mr. Tran has a Bachelors of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University. He is experienced in numerous programming languages including C#, Visual Basic, Java, HTML, XML, PHP, SQL, and COBOL as well as with systems and applications such as Microsoft Windows, BEA WebLogic, JRun, SQL Server, Access, and MySQL.
